GaryTurnerJazz plays Classic Jazz and American Songbook tunes
Gary Turner (Guitar, Vocals) a graduate of Musician’s Institute in LA, performed on the road for over a dozen years, with stops at The Century Plaza Hotel, The Bonaventure, and point’s in-between coast to coast. Opened for Three Dog Night and in 2004 performed at Carnegie Hall.
Victor Acosta, (Organ) Classically trained, Victor has been playing Jazz for decades. Not only a talented Musician Victor holds a PHD in Mathematics and teaches at CSULB.
Peter Pfieffer (Drums) A drummer who you will find playing all styles at venues all over OC and beyond. Peter has recorded with Eric Gale, Dave Diggs and others and toured the World with Chaka Kahn.
Special Guest....Luther Hughes (Bass) One of the finest Bass Players around. Has played bass with some of the biggest names in jazz in a career spanning over 40 years. He has performed or recorded with jazz legends such as Gene Harris, Mundell Lowe, Joe Henderson, Carmen MacRae, Willie Bobo, Horace Silver, Harold Land, Don Ellis, Joe Pass, Louis Bellson, Hampton Hawes, Ronnell Bright, Herb Geller, Mal Waldron, Diana Krall, Michael Feinstein and many more.
